Our Backyard

These days...

Well then... a month has flown by, and things around this here blog have been rather quiet. Please bear with me as I find a blogging rhythm.

 Things are slowing down here on Salt Spring...  we've had our first couple of frosts in the last week - which means no more strawberries from the garden, but fall harvest is in full swing. We had a lovely thanksgiving weekend - my contribution was cooking up gluten-free sweet potato pie for all, and we shared a gratitude circle and potluck meal with the island community. The fall colours are starting to paint the landscape - however, I must admit I find myself missing the grandeur of fall in Ontario.
